Proverbs 6:6-8
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!

7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,

8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Great Testimonies

SEPTEMBER 2010

Two little boys, ages 8 and 10, were excessively mischievous.
They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew all about it.

If any mischief occurred in their town,
The two boys were probably involved.

The boys' mother heard that a preacher in town had been successful
in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys.

The preacher agreed, but he asked to see them individually.
So the mother sent the 8 year old first, in the morning,
with the older boy to see the preacher in the afternoon.

The preacher, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger
boy down and asked him sternly,
'Do you know where God is, son?'

The boy's mouth dropped open , but he made no response,
sitting there wide-eyed with his mouth hanging open.

So the preacher repeated the question in an even sterner tone,
'Where is God?'

Again, the boy made no attempt to answer.
The preacher raised his voice even more and shook
his finger in the boy's face and bellowed,
'Where is God?'

The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home
and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him.

When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked,
'What happened?'

The younger brother, gasping for breath,
Replied,' We are in BIG trouble this time,'

'GOD is missing, and they think we did it!'

THE LYRICS - EDITED

1. Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Saviour,
And life more abundant and free:

Chorus:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu'rors we are!

His word shall not fail you He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well.
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

2. Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to
Thee
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, Blessed Trinity!

Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore Thee
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee
Which wert and art and evermore shall be.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Tho’ the darkness hide Thee
Tho’ the eyes of sinful man Thy glory may
not see
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love and purity.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and seas;
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, Blessed Trinity.

3. Amazing Grace
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.

4. Be Still My Soul
Be still, my soul.
Be still my soul.
Cease from the labour and the toil.
Refreshing springs of peace await
To troubled minds and hearts that ache.
Be still, my soul
God knows your way
And He will guide for His namesake
Plunge in the rivers of His grace.
Rest in the arms of His embrace.
Be still, my soul.
Be still, my soul.
Though battles round you rage and roar.
One thing you need and nothing more
To hear the whispers of your Lord.
Be still, my child,
I know your way
And I will guide for My namesake.
Plunge in the rivers of My grace.
Rest in the arms of My embrace.

5. The Old Rugged Cross
On a hill far away, stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross where the
dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

Chorus:
So I cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down.
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown.

Oh that old rugged cross, so despised
by the world
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.

In the old rugged cross stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see;
For ‘twas on that old cross, Jesus suffered and died
To pardon and sanctify me

To the old rugged cross, I will ever be true,
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me someday to my home far away
Where His glory forever I’ll share

6. The Way of the Cross Leads Home
I must reach Heaven’s home
By the way of the Cross
There is no other way but this
I will never have sight of the gates of light
If the way of the cross I miss

Chorus:
The way of the cross leads home
The way of the cross leads home
Till I reach the goal, it’s a joy to know
The way of the cross leads home
The way of the cross leads home

I must journey on in the blood-washed way
On the rough thorny path He trod
I’m determine to run till the race is won
And my soul is at home with God

So I bid farewell to the ways of the world
To walk in it no more
For the Lord says “Come”
And I seek my home where He waits
at the open door

7. Jesus Loves Me
Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong
Yes, Jesus loves me,
Yes, Jesus loves me,
Yes, Jesus loves me
For the Bible tells me so.

8. Ku Mau Cinta Yesus
Ku mau cinta Yesus selamanya
Ku mau cinta Yesus selamanya
Meskipun badai sileh berganti dalam hidupku
Ku tetap cinta Yesus selamanya

Chorus:
Ya, Abah Bapa, ini aku anakMu
Layakkanlah seluruh hidupku
Ya, Abah Bapa, ini aku anakMu
Pakailah sesuai dengan rencanaMu

9. What A Friend We Have In Jesus
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and grieves to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior still our refuge;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

The primary objective of the camp is to provide fellowship and mutual support for personal fulfillment in obedience to God's Will and God's Word to all Christians because of one reason or another.

The camp provides a good opportunity for youth to come together and get to know one another better, not only for the development of friendship, but also for better cooperation among assemblies as they are potential leaders of the future.

The camp also provides opportunity for like-minded saints to take a rest from their school/work-schedule to come together to share and minister to one another as they sit under the sound of God's Word dealing with matters of mutual interest in a healthy and congenial environment.
